Estelle Flowers have their own cutting garden, where they propagate and grow spring and summer flowering annuals, some lovely fragrant and more unusual perennials and of course hydrangeas, rhododendrons and ornamental blossom trees that thrive in the southern climate.

There are a handful of premium Dunedin growers who supply Estelle Flowers in the warmer months, as well as sourcing flowers direct from specialty growers and suppliers around New Zealand. You will often find them down at the Dunedin flower market in the early morning, or spy them foraging along the way for a snip of something gorgeous to enhance their botanical creations.

Estelle Flowers is an environmentally conscious business, working exclusively with NZ grown plants, favoring those grown in Dunedin. They compost all of the green waste from the shop, use compostable, recyclable or reusable bouquet and water wraps, and restrict any single use plastics to an absolute minimum. They are always working towards more environmental ways to run the business and to have the most positive effect on the Floristry industry as well the planet.

Estelle Flowers love to collaborate on creative and styled shoots and have worked with photographers, fashion designers, hair and makeup artists, models, gardens and venues around the South Island of New Zealand.

Not only do they enjoy collaborating for the stunning images, but they love to have a fantastic time while doing so, and are eternally grateful for the photographers whos work now grace their portfolio - thank you X

They have been fortunate to give multiple floral demonstrations and artist talks at Larnach Castle, The Dunedin Botanic Gardens, the Dunedin Public Art Gallery, Glenfalloch Gardens & Blueskin Nurseries - these occasions are our opportunity to share our flower obsession with like minded people.

Estelle are so grateful to Erin - Acorn Studio, for the collaborative works with studio and portrait shoots, the capture of a lot of the wedding & event work and the shared Paper Garden project. The creative opportunities she brings to Estelle are everything.
